RACE TRIP
Would all persons going to York races please pay Mr Joe Townsend the remainder of the cost (£15) before 24th June.

CHARITY PARACHUTE JUMP
Martin Burke, (very apt name for such an undertaking) is to leap from a very high aero- plane, accelerate at 9.81m/s/s towards the earth, reach a top speed of 130mph and hopefully his fall will be arrested by a small piece of thin material, namely a parachute!
Martin is doing the daredevil fall on 6th July and can be sponsored, his chosen charity being Child Line.
The sponsor sheet is on the notice board at the club, try and dig deep and sponsor the fool, sorry Martin. If he does have a bit of a sudden landing I would imagine he will come off his shorter run the next match day. Best of Luck Sir
