Blackley Cricket Club currently has three open age sides. The First & Second Teams play in the Towergate Insurance Halifax Cricket League on Saturdays, both sides are currently in the Roy Smith Conference. The Sunday Team competes in the Halifax Sunday Section, and is currently in the Second Division.
In addition Blackley Cricket Club operates four Junior sides at various age groups (Under 11’s, Under 13’s, Under 15’s and Under 17’s) playing on evenings during the week. All these teams play in the Bramley’s Halifax Junior Cricket League.
Open age Summer practice takes place (weather permitting) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6.15pm.
Juniors practice Friday evenings (U11) and Saturday mornings (U13/15’s).
Winter nets run from January to March at Brooksbank School on Friday nights, see junior page.
