CHANCE to SHINE
Blackley CC in partnership with Brooksbank School hosted a cricket festival on Wednesday 26th May. Six Primary Schools sent teams along to the festival organised by Ben Heritage, Community Cricket & Multi-Skills Coach (Calderdale) and Adam Oldroyde from Brooksbank. The school sides all played 5 games of cricket against each other, Salterhebble Primary winning the league, being undefeated on the day.
Schools participating on the day were; Old Earth, Greetland, West Vale, Cross Lane and C of E Elland.

ECB FAST BOWLING DIRECTIVE - 2010
The number of overs bowled in a spell and day by a player up to U19 level has changed for the 2010 season.

Friday 26th - Annual Fundraising Dinner
Over 100 ‘Sportsmen’ attended the 4th annual gathering at Elland Cricket Club.
Big thank you’s to Mc Peter Emmott who ran proceedings, guest speaker Fred Eyre and hilarious comedian Max Pressure.
The evenings ‘line-up’ and catering was organised by Mr R.M. Fox - splendid effort.
Blackley CC would like to thank all the people who organised tables, people who attended and parted with their money extremely generously.
